New York-based psychotherapist and author Michelle P. Maidenberg, Ph.D., shares how mindfulness can help address changes and challenges to our daily routines, from eating to sleeping to parenting.
BIO: Michelle P. Maidenberg, Ph.D., MPH, LCSW-R, has a private psychotherapy practice in Harrison, NY utilizing Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization Processing (EMDR), Structural Family Therapy, and Mindfulness. She is As an adjunct professor at New York University, she teaches a graduate course in Mindfulness and is a contributing blogger for Psych Central and a number of other publications.
She is co-founder and president of “Thru My Eyes” a nonprofit 501c3 organization that offers clinically-guided videotaping for chronically medically ill individuals who want to leave video legacies for their children and loved ones. She is a member of American Red Cross Crisis Team and serves on the Board of Directors of the Westchester Trauma Network (WTN).
